REMOVE THE TACK!

INFLAMMATION is a HOT TOPIC right now.

Most people know what it is and have experienced it in some form.

But did you know that it is linked to almost every known chronic disease?

It is linked to heavy hitters such as cancer and diabetes. But it is also linked to arthritis, asthma, allergies, depression, autism, dementia, and autoimmune diseases.

When most people think of how to stop inflammation, they think of taking an anti-inflammatory such as Vitamin I (Ibuprofen), or the latest trend, numeric. They don’t often consider how to get rid of the underlying root cause of the inflammation. And even if they do, they have no idea what it is.

This is like sitting on a tack and taking Ibuprofen to alleviate the pain. And when it doesn’t, adding higher doses of Ibuprofen. Makes sense, right? Absolutely NOT!

A better option would be to find and REMOVE THE TACK!

The underlying causes of inflammation are things such as stress, environmental toxins, allergens, an inflammatory diet, and hidden infections.

As Dr Hyman says, “Treat the fire, not the smoke.”

Traditional Medicine is very good at diagnosing disease, but rarely looks for the underlying root cause.

I look at things very differently. With Functional Medicine I find the root cause. I go upstream to find the tack and educate and empower you on how to remove it.

This gets rid of the underlying root cause, instead of putting a band aide on some symptoms.
